Ten Years of Love and Laughter – Anniversary Session at Davis Johnson Park and Gardens

There’s something truly special about capturing love that has stood the test of time. For my sister and her husband’s ten-year anniversary, we celebrated with a golden-hour photo session at Davis Johnson Park and Gardens in Tenafly, New Jersey. The light was soft and dreamy, casting the kind of glow that made every frame feel like a memory already in progress.

This session was especially close to my heart. Watching them laugh, tease, and goof off together after a decade of marriage (and two wonderful kids!) was a reminder that love doesn’t just grow—it evolves. These two are playful, tender, and constantly in sync. They bring out the best in each other and somehow still manage to act like big kids themselves.

The gardens gave us the perfect backdrop: lush green trails, gentle sunset light, and quiet corners that let their connection shine. From spontaneous piggyback rides to quiet moments hand-in-hand, every photo felt like a piece of who they are—imperfect, joyful, and completely in love.
